When detailing Belgavia Group’s next major projects at 366 W. Superior and 365-366 W. Erie in a recent report, Crain’s also mentioned that another Belgravia project on the Near North Side is seeing quite a bit of success since units officially hit the MLS a couple months ago.
Dubbed Segwick at Locust, the 45-unit luxury condominium development that’s replacing the old St. Dominic Roman Catholic Church, which has been vacant since 1990, already has 25 signed contracts out, with more sure to be on the way as the busy fall season approaches.
Officially announced back in April, it’s no surprise to see such fast movement at Sedwick at Locust considering downtown’s shortage of new construction condos. And given units there are priced in the mid $400,000 to high $800,000 price range, they seem to be in that sweet spot that many of today’s downtown condo buyers are looking for, especially around the River North neighborhood.
